But it was his wife Chloe who nudged him to pursue animal medicine instead. She was inspired by watching “The Incredible Dr. Pol”, the hit reality show that follows the life and work of Dr. Jan Pol.
Dr. Harp was a fan of the show and decided to apply for a job at Pol Veterinary Services, the clinic of Dr. Pol. He got hired as an associate veterinarian on July 1, 2019, and soon made his TV debut on season 17 premiere of the show, titled “Su-Pol Sized!”.

Dr. Lisa joined Pol Veterinary Services on July 1, 2019, as an associate veterinarian and took on the responsibility of being on call for emergencies.She often worked long hours and sometimes slept only three or four hours a night. She also became a part of the hit reality show “The Incredible Dr. Pol” debuting in 2020 during season 17 episode 2 titled “Sprain, Sprain, Go Away.” Dr.Lisa has appeared in 76 episodes until 2024, showcasing her enthusiasm, dedication, and talent in animal medicine.
But Dr. Lisa’s love for animals does not end there. She also owns and runs Panorama Farm, a full-service equestrian stable in Tivoli, New York. There, she offers boarding, schooling, training, and lessons for horses and riders of all levels and disciplines. She is also an avid competitor in the Extreme Mustang Makeover, a program that challenges trainers to tame and train wild mustangs in just four months.She has successfully completed the program with her Mustang mare, Mouse, and has participated in several events with her.
